Investing in Communities of Care Voter Guide

October 2022

This nonpartisan voter guide was developed by members of the Muslim Abolitionist Futures National Network and outside partners including Muslims for Just Futures, Muslim Women For, HEART, Queer Crescent, South Asian Americans Leading Together, and CAIR Georgia who have collaborated together to build a voter guide for the upcoming 2022 midterm elections. The creation of this voter guide was led mainly by Muslim women and queer-led grassroots organizations that work towards building power in Muslim communities and towards collective liberation for all communities. It was also led by groups that work within South Asian communities to build collective power and multiracial solidarity. This is a national voter guide that offers resources and information for voters across the country. Within this voter guide, we have taken an intentional approach to center Muslim organizations based and working in the South and Midwest. Our collective theme for this voter guide is focused on investing in communities of care. For our National Network voting is one tool we can use to build political and community power in order to invest in the futures of our communities.
